Physics
Her we learned how to use force and motion in this rocket. We also learned how to come up with an good hypothesis and ask good questions about our experiment and how to compare thing. I also learned how to use independent and dependent variables in a sentence. For Rachael we did a freshmen monument. We came up with some random ideas and then we put them together to see which one we wanted to do as a whole class. So we picked building blocks. So the idea of this is to show that we are growing up starting from freshmen to seiners. So everyone in the class had a partner and worked on one block together. My partner was Veronica. We had separate ideas so we just combined our ideas. Then we took everyone's blockes and hot glued them together.
Wind Turbine
My wind turbine has three blads. The blades are made out of cardbored. The base is made out os styrophome with rocks in the middle of the pole and glued to the square under the pole. The moter is atched to the qork which is atached to the blades. |
Headphones
I created a pair of headphone for my be heard project. I also did a press paper on them. Click on the button on the right. This paper will explain everything that I did. I talked about the design of my headphones, I talked about the content(voice coil)of my headphones, I talked about the 6 parts of a headphone, and I talked about what the design means and how its related to my social justice issue topic. |
Bottle Rocket
In this class I was assigned a partner. With my partner we had to research, brainstorm, and come up with ideas for our rocket. This process took a long time. I the end we finished it and it looked great. One thing that wasn't so great was the egg. We had to put an egg in the cone and when we launched it, it cracked. But overall my partner and I did great. Also I had to do a process paper. For me that's a difficult part. I did do it but i'm in the process of finishing it.
